Sears, E-Trade, Priceline.com Are Big Movers

Brush Engineered Materials Inc., up $7.04 at $41.50

The company, which makes metals for electronics, reported quarterly results that beat expectations and a strong outlook for 2011.

Stone Energy Corp., up $1.88 at $28.19

The Lafayette, Louisiana-based petroleum producer posted a fourth-quarter profit that topped Wall Street expectations.

H&R Block Inc., up 73 cents at $14.91

The tax preparer said returns prepared through Feb. 15 grew 2.5 percent from a year ago while online returns jumped 28 percent.

FTI Consulting Inc., down $2.58 at $33.15

The business advisory company, based in West Palm Beach, Florida, offered a weaker forecast below what Wall Street was expecting.

Priceline.com Inc., up $36.35 at $462.34

International growth has helped the online travel service increase its bookings, while its outlook topped analyst expectations.

Sears Holdings Corp., down $4.83 at $82.40

The retailer said fourth-quarter net income fell 13 percent, a day after hiring a new CEO following a three-year search.

E-Trade Financial Corp., down 80 cents at $15.85

Hedge fund Citadel, E-Trade's largest shareholder, plans to sell a large portion of its stake in the online discount brokerage.

Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd., down $9.84 at $31.61

The drug company said it will likely have to provide more information to the FDA before gaining expanded approval for Xifaxan.
