Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Awarded $1.0 Million Order To Support Fielded U.S. Government Satellite Communication Systems

MELVILLE, N.Y., Feb. 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., was awarded an order for $1.0 million as part of the increase of an existing contract with the U.S. Navy for high-power amplifiers. The order includes a broad spectrum of new units and repairs for U.S. Navy satellite communications systems.
