Class-D Amplifier Architecture Patent Issued To O2Micro

 

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman, Jan. 31, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- O2Micro ® International Limited (Nasdaq:OIIM) was issued 27 claims under United States patent number 7,868,693 for its Class-D Amplifier architecture; a continuation of the invention issued March 2009 under United States patent number 7,501,886.

O2Micro's patented IC's innovative design enables minimized distortion. Class-D Amplifiers are commonly used to drive loudspeaker applications.
