Chicago VNA Selects Authentidate's Inscrybe Healthcare To Enhance Referral Management

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J., Jan. 13, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq:ADAT), a worldwide provider of secure health information exchange, workflow management services and telehealth solutions, today announced that Chicago VNA, Inc. a home health and skilled nursing care division of U.S. Home Health Care, Inc., has selected Authentidate's Inscrybe ® Healthcare web-based service to standardize their referral management processes and reduce the completion time for processing care orders.

"Establishing standard operating procedures via Inscrybe across all of our lines of business will ensure a consistent approach that is both customer-centric and efficient. The flexibility of physician delivery options on this secure web-based service allows us to be competitive with many larger organizations without incurring huge overhead costs," stated Maria Thanugundla, General Manager at Chicago VNA.

Authentidate's Inscrybe Healthcare Service allows all patient care documents to be available as a fax or electronically, allowing physicians, or their staff, to select how they prefer to communicate with service providers. Those who select the electronic option will log-in to a unified web-based platform to review any of their existing documents. While online, the physician can also update, complete and electronically sign patient care orders from any provider who subscribes to Inscrybe Healthcare.

"We look forward to supporting the growing needs of Chicago VNA," said Marcus Wagstaff, National Sales Director of Authentidate Holding Corp. "Chicago VNA's decision to standardize their processes using our services highlights Inscrybe's benefits for both home health and home medical equipment providers as they work to enhance their administrative processes."
