O2Micro's USB Charger Selected By Leading Camcorder OEM

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman, Jan. 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- O2Micro ^® International Limited (Nasdaq:OIIM) announced today that its USB Charger (OZ8070) integrated circuit (IC) is in production in an industry-leading customer's new Camcorder application.

O2Micro's USB Charger is a 2-cell Lithium Ion (LiIon) battery charging and protection IC. It provides USB upstream and downstream power bus protection. Applications include camcorder, DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex), DSC (Digital Still Camera), and other USB-powered devices.
