The Export-Import Bank Of The United States Launches 'Global Access For Small Business'
Program Designed to Improve Export Opportunities for U.S. Small Businesses
The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce invite reporters to attend the Bank's launching of its new Global Access for Small Business ( Global Access ) initiative, dedicated to increasing the number of small businesses exporting goods and services produced by U.S. workers. Global Access is being supported by a wide variety of business, financial and government partners and is part of President Obama's National Export Initiative. Date : Thursday, January 13th, 2011 Time : 2:00 PM Location : U.S. Chamber of Commerce 615 H Street, NW Washington, DC Learn about Ex-Im's plans to increase its annual small business export finance volume to $9 billion, help more than 5,000 small companies export, and approve at least $30 billion in new small business transactions cumulatively by 2014. Hochberg ) among the representatives of key Global Access partners who will be participating in the January 13th event, including: Commerce Secretary Gary Locke U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk U.S. Chamber President and CEO Thomas J.
