Amazon Kindle Hits Sales Milestone
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Amazon's (AMZN) Kindle e-reader has become the best selling product in the company's history.
"We're grateful to the millions of customers who have made the all-new Kindle the bestselling product in the history of Amazon -- surpassing Harry Potter 7," said Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO.
Bezos added that Kindle buyers often also own tablet devices such as Apple's (AAPL) iPad, but report preferring the Kindle for reading.
The company did not disclose specific sales figures for the Kindle.
