Syntel Named To Forbes "Best Small Companies" List For The Fourth Straight Year
TROY, Mich., Dec. 16, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Syntel, a global information technology services and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) company, announced today that it has been named to Forbes Magazine's "100 Best Small Companies" list. In order to be named to the list, firms with annual revenues between $5 million and $750 million are evaluated based on a number of criteria, including sales, profit, and earnings-per-share (EPS) growth rates, return on equity, and stock price. Syntel, which has been named to the list for four consecutive years, was ranked 38th overall. Syntel's ranking was driven by 27% growth in EPS and a 34% jump in return on equity.
