Tepid Rating Rocks Global Telesystems
Global TeleSystems (GTS Quote) was down 11.8% in early trading after Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown began coverage of it at market perform. Robertson Stephens had downgraded the stock on Wednesday. Deutsche Banc also began coverage of Global Crossing (GBLX Quote) with a strong buy and placed new buy ratings on Flag Telecom (FTHL Quote), Level 3 (LVLT Quote) and TyCom (TCM Quote).
