Credit Acceptance Announces Third Quarter 2010 Earnings
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Nov. 1, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Credit Acceptance Corporation (Nasdaq:CACC) (referred to as the "Company", "we", "our", or "us") announced consolidated net income of $42.0 million, or $1.48 per diluted share, for the three months ended September 30, 2010 compared to consolidated net income of $40.7 million, or $1.29 per diluted share, for the same period in 2009. For the nine months ended September 30, 2010, consolidated net income was $123.1 million, or $4.03 per diluted share, compared to consolidated net income of $105.9 million, or $3.38 per diluted share, for the same period in 2009.
Adjusted net income, a non-GAAP financial measure, for the three months ended September 30, 2010 was $39.6 million, or $1.39 per diluted share, compared to $34.7 million, or $1.10 per diluted share, for the same period in 2009. For the nine months ended September 30, 2010, adjusted net income was $116.8 million, or $3.83 per diluted share, compared to adjusted net income of $89.5 million, or $2.85 per diluted share, for the same period in 2009.
