In September, EP Global Communications, Inc. announced the creation of the EP Health Sciences Division for the purpose of exploring and helping to develop products and information to serve and improve the lives of people impacted by pain and disabilities. Because of EPGL’s unique position in the healthcare industry and nexus of scientists, caregivers and major health care institutions, the Company is able to bring together the best and the brightest minds to achieve these objectives.
As an example of this nexus, EPGL has been able to assemble several highly respected physicians and scientists to present at this year’s World Congress on Disabilities (WCD) conference in Dallas, including a presentation by Dr. Norman Marcus on the Muscle Pain Detection Device (MPDD) and his Intervention Therapy to treat muscle pain. The MPDD device addresses a market where $86 billion is spent annually. EP is currently involved with several such devices and intervention therapies that hold forth the promise of reducing or eliminating pain and improving the quality of life for millions of people around the globe.
