TROY, Mich., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- CareTech Solutions, an information technology (IT) and Web products and services provider for more than 150 hospitals in the U.S. announced today that the company and nine of its healthcare clients were recognized for excellence by the Web Marketing Association in its 14th annual WebAward Competition.

The Web Marketing Association created the WebAward in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web. This year more than 2,000 websites from 45 countries were entered in the competition. Entries were critiqued on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology. The competition was judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of website development. Judges included members of the media, advertising executives, site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters.
