"I am delighted to collaborate with International Medical Corps to promote awareness of the devastating floods in Pakistan and to reach out to all Americans for help in what is one of the worst disasters in Pakistan's history," said Ghauri. The organization also is preparing to rehabilitate damaged health facilities and train local health workers to help Pakistan return to self-reliance.Since its inception more than 25 years ago, International Medical Corps' mission has been consistent: relieve the suffering of those impacted by war, natural disaster, and disease, by delivering vital health care services that focus on training.
