35 Dividend Stocks Increasing Payouts

Water utility Artesian Resources (ARTNA) approved a 0.5% increase in the Class A non-voting and Class B common shareholders' dividend, raising the annual dividend to 75.68 cents per share. The quarterly dividend of 18.92 cents per share will be paid Nov. 19 to shareholders of record on Nov. 8. Artesian's current yield is 4%.

West Pharmaceutical Services (WST), a manufacturer of components and systems for injectable drug delivery and plastic packaging, approved an increase of one cent per share to its dividend, or a 6.3% increase. The new dividend of 17 cents per share will be paid Nov. 3 to shareholders of record on Oct. 20, bringing its current yield to 1.9%.

Senior Housing Properties Trust (SNH), a real estate investment trust , raised its payout by 2.8% to 37 cents per share. It will be paid Nov. 12 to shareholders of record on Oct. 15. That brings its current yield to 6.2%.

Northwest Natural Gas (NWN) increased its quarterly dividend by 4.8% to 43.5 cents. The dividend will be paid Nov. 15 to shareholders of record on Oct. 29 for a current yield of 3.5%.

HopFed Bancorp (HFBC), a holding company of Hopkinsville, Ky.-based Heritage Bank, declared a quarterly cash dividend of 8 cents per share and a 2% stock dividend. Both the cash and stock dividend will be paid on Oct. 15 to stockholders of record as of Sept. 30. HopFed's current yield is 6.2%.

Regional bank Bank of the Ozarks (OZRK) raised its quarterly dividend by a penny, or 6.7%, to 16 cents per share. It will be paid Oct. 22 to shareholders of record on Oct. 15. That brings its current yield to 1.7%.

Claymore Dividend & Income Fund (DCS), a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company, increased its quarterly dividend by 25% to 12.5 cents per share. The dividend will be paid Nov. 30 to holders of record on Nov. 15 for a current yield of 3.4%.

Management consulting and outsource company Accenture declared its semi-annual dividend of 45 cents per share, increasing its payout by 20%. The higher dividend will be paid Nov. 15 to shareholders of record on Oct. 12. The increase brings Accenture's yield to 4%.
