National Information Consortium down on Forecast
National Information Consortium (EGOV Quote) fell 9.6% in preopen Island trading after saying it would post a wider-than-expected third-quarter loss of 24 to 25 cents per share, compared with a loss of 3 cents a year ago and the Street estimate of a 20-cent loss. The company also announced job cuts and a restructuring charge.
