Apple: Analysts' Upgrades, Downgrades

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- CHANGE IN RATINGS

Baxter (BAX) downgraded at Citigroup from Hold to Sell. $41 price target. Consensus estimates appear high, as the company is facing several growth headwinds.

Ball (BLL) downgraded at BofA/Merrill to Neutral from Buy on paper pricing. $62 price target.

BorgWarner (BWA) downgraded at JP Morgan. Rating lowered to Neutral from Overweight. Price target lowered to $45 from $49. Lowers 2010 EPS estimates to $2.68 from $2.70.

CF Industries (CF) initiated at Barclays. CF coverage initiated with an Equal Weight rating and $105 price target. Strong fundamentals near term but longer-term issues with its small growth pipeline.

Costco (COST) upgraded at Goldman from Neutral to Buy. $68 price target. Company is seeing better sales and accelerating unit growth, while keeping a lid on costs.

Commscope (CTV) upgraded at UBS from Neutral to Buy. $28 price target. Estimates also boosted, given higher expected wireless spending in China.

Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) downgraded at Goldman was downgraded from Buy to Neutral. $30 price target. Valuation call, as the stock has outperformed its peers over the past year.

Darden Restaurants (DRI) rated new Buy at Janney. $54 price target. Same-store sales growth appears to be improving.

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) downgraded at UBS from Buy to Neutral. $44 price target. Estimates also lowered, as checks show a weaker consumer PC market.

H&R Block (HRB) downgraded at Oppenheimer from Outperform to Perform. Company is spending more and continues to face a mortgage overhang.

Intel (INTC) downgraded at UBS from Buy to Neutral. $19.50 price target. Weak PC demand could lead to price cuts.

Illinois Tool Works (ITW) rated new Neutral at Sterne Agee. $45 price target. Near-term restructuring could lead to future growth.

Lockheed Martin (LMT) downgraded at BofA/Merrill to Underperform from Buy. Valuation call. Price target cut from $85 to $78.

Las Vegas Sands (LVS) downgraded at Soleil from Buy to Hold. Valuation call, based on a $34 price target.

Molycorp (MCP) rated new Overweight at Morgan Stanley. $27 price target. Company is an emerging clean energy play.

Magna International (MGA) downgraded at JP Morgan. Rating lowered to Neutral from Overweight. Price target lowered to $85 from $90. 2010 EPS estimates raised to $7.84 from $7.77.

MGM Resorts (MGM) upgraded at Soleil from Hold to Buy. Company has improved its balance sheet and should benefit from a recovery in LV conference demand. $14 price target.
