Since the announcement, the ESTA Web site has been flooded with visitors looking to beat the deadline and get free registration.

The Web site has promoted U.S. tourism by letting aspiring travelers apply for America's visa waiver program for free. It is believed that the new fee might discourage potential visitors from applying and visiting the states.

"NCSECU" is a hot search topic after reports that the North Carolina State Employees' Credit Union plans to upgrade its "Another Chance" service. The credit union will send a text message to its customers if they try to take out more money than is in their account. The client will have until the end of the day to deposit the difference into the account to avoid an overdraft fee.

NCSECU also offers its customers a second account in which they can keep extra money. If the customer makes a withdrawal for more than they have in their primary account, the difference is taken from the second account. If the difference is met then they will not be hit with an overdraft fee.

"It has never been the focus of SECU to benefit from members' errors, and we feel confident that our efforts over the past two years have resulted in an overall plan that will minimize returned items and any potential fees for members," said SVP of operations Sue Douglas. "Another Chance is a terrific addition to SECU's ongoing efforts to put financial literacy into practice and keep money where it belongs -- in the pockets of our members!"
