Virginia Commerce Bank has appointed E. Thomas Blalock II as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending, in its Fredericksburg region. The majority of Mr. Blalock’s 25 years in banking have been in Fredericksburg, most recently with Union First Market Bank’s Fredericksburg Commercial Banking Group. A life-long resident of Fredericksburg and graduate of University of Mary Washington, Mr. Blalock has been active in a variety of civic and community organizations. He is a Past President of the Fredericksburg Rotary Club and currently serves on the Boards of Germanna Community College Educational Foundation and the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region.
