Perma-Fix CEO Ranked One Of Georgia's Top CEOs Of The Year

ATLANTA, Aug. 10, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:PESI) announced that Dr. Louis F. Centofanti, Perma-Fix's CEO, ranked 2nd among the Atlanta Business Chronicle's list of Georgia's public company "CEOs of the Year" published in a special section of the July 30th issue. Companies were selected based on three criteria that were given equal weighting: increase in revenue, increase in profits and shareholder return.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Perma-Fix's shareholder return from January 2, 2009 through June 30, 2010 was $126.77 and was calculated assuming a $100 investment in the company's stock at the beginning of the period. For the period 2008 – 2009, the percentage change in revenue was an increase of 33.3% and the percentage change in net income was an increase of 403.5%. There were 126 companies on the list.
