Moontoast Announces W. Blair Heavey As President And Chief Executive Officer

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Moontoast, Inc. announces the appointment of Blair Heavey as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.  Moontoast provides branded social commerce solutions to businesses and individuals who are looking to maximize their social media marketing and sales efforts.  Heavey joins co-founder and CTO, Marcus Whitney, to lead Moontoast's strategy and execution in this new and exciting market.

His tenure as Director of Sales at Open Market and Executive Vice President at Be Free demonstrated a strong executive leadership record with a proven ability to build high impact sales and marketing teams.

Heavey's past experience also includes: President and CEO of MyPerfectGig; Entrepreneur-in-Residence at North Bridge Venture Partners; and CEO of DirectoryM.  He received his BA in Computer Science and Political Science from Boston College and earned his MBA from Babson College.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Mall Networks, a leading provider of merchant-funded loyalty shopping solutions, as well as the advisory boards of two additional startups.
