Webster Financial Corporation Announces Common And Preferred Dividends
WATERBURY, Conn., July 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Webster Financial Corporation (NYSE: WBS), the holding company for Webster Bank, N.A., announced that its Board of Directors today declared cash dividends on its common shares and its 8.50% Series A Non-Cumulative Perpetual Convertible Preferred Stock.
Webster declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per common share, payable on August 16, 2010 to shareholders of record on August 2, 2010. Webster also declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $21.25 per share on its 8.50% Series A Non-Cumulative Perpetual Convertible Preferred Stock, payable on September 15, 2010 to shareholders of record on September 1, 2010. Webster Financial Corporation is the holding company for Webster Bank, National Association.
