Gold Prices Rise on Bargain Hunting
Gold mining stocks, a risky but more profitable way to invest in gold, were rising with the broader equities markets, firmer on news that wholesale inventories grew 0.5% in May.
Kinross Gold(KGC) was trading 3.2% higher at $16.33, while Yamana Gold(AUY) was advancing 2.9% to $9.90. AngloGold Ashanti(AU) American Depository Receipts were adding 1% to $41.08.
