Tix Corporation Subsidiary Exhibit Merchandising Announces Opening Of Two Museum Exhibition Stores

Tix Corporation (Nasdaq: TIXC), an integrated entertainment company, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Exhibit Merchandising, LLC, has opened two museum stores this month related to recently opened exhibits.

The store in support of the brand new exhibition entitled, “Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt,” opened at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia earlier this month and will remain open until January 2, 2011. The stop in Philadelphia is the first stop of a planned five-year multi-city tour.

This unique exhibition about the legendary queen, who remains one of history’s greatest enigmas, will travel to five North American cities. The show is organized by National Geographic and Arts and Exhibitions International, with cooperation from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities and the European Institute for Underwater Archaeology, and features about 150 artifacts. It takes visitors inside the present-day search for Cleopatra, which extends from the sands of Egypt to the depths of the Bay of Aboukir near Alexandria.

The museum store related to the exhibit “Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs” at the Denver Art Museum opened on June 29 and will remain open until January 9, 2011. This show is part of a five-year planned tour which previously stopped in Toronto, Atlanta, and Vienna.
