Financial Analyst Jim Grant Delivers Powerful Keynote At Luncheon Hosted By The Knall/Cohen Group Of Stifel Nicolaus
The Knall/Cohen Group of Stifel Nicolaus, a financial advisory group for high net worth families and foundations and endowments, hosted a June luncheon featuring a commanding speech from world-renowned financial analyst James Grant.
Grant, a former Barron's staff writer, celebrated author, and financial analyst, accepted an invitation to speak to more than 250 clients of the Knall/Cohen Group at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. During his speech, Grant covered everything from the U.S. financial collapse and the stock market, to gold, currencies, and interest rates. “We have followed Jim Grant’s work and attended his biannual conferences for almost 20 years,” said David Knall, partner in the Knall/Cohen Group and managing director with Stifel Nicolaus’ Indianapolis office. “He is one of the top financial minds in the world today, so it was an honor and a privilege to have Jim share his insights with our clients.” Founder and editor of Grant’s Interest Rate Observer, an independent, contrary-minded journal of the financial markets, Grant is also the author of five books on finance and financial history. He has made television appearances on programs such as 60 Minutes, The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, CBS Evening News, and had a 10-year stint on Wall Street Week. His writing has appeared in a variety of periodicals, including Forbes, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and Foreign Affairs.
