BLOCKBUSTER(R) Announces The Exclusive Release Of 'The Greatest'

(NYSE: BBI, BBI.B), a global leader in entertainment, announced the exclusive release of "The Greatest" in stores, by mail, on demand and through BLOCKBUSTER Express kiosks for the first 30 days after release as part of Blockbuster's Premieres program.

Starring Susan Sarandon, Pierce Bronson, and 2010 Academy Award-nominee Carey Mulligan, " The Greatest" is a powerful emotional drama following the family tragedy of the Brewer family.  Months after Allen and Grace Brewer's oldest son, Bennett, dies in a car crash, a young woman, Rose, appears at their doorstep and announces that she is pregnant with Bennett's child. The Brewers are forced to take her into their home.  At first, Rose's presence threatens to tear the family even further apart but, after time, Rose brings the grief-stricken family back together.
