Standard Parking Announces Nationwide Arena District Contract Extension
CHICAGO, June 14, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Standard Parking Corporation (Nasdaq:STAN), one of the nation's leading providers of parking management, ground transportation and other ancillary services, announced today that Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) has extended the Company's contract to manage NRI's Arena District Parking Portfolio.
The Arena District contains over 10,700 parking spaces in ten garages and seven surface lots in the heart of Columbus, OH, and includes Nationwide Arena, home to the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets. The District's parking facilities service over two million square feet of commercial office and retail space, 150 residential condominiums and 100 apartments. Standard Parking has provided comprehensive management services for all of the parking facilities and surface lots since the Arena's inception in July of 2000.
