What's New for Summer in the Hamptons

Race Lane will cater to the glitzy crowds of Della Femina and Nick & Toni's. It's located in the former Laundry space and owned by Jay and Rowaida Plumeri, who run New York's 41 Greenwich. The East Hampton outpost of New York's Serafina will also be vying for diners' dollars.

Three Mile Harbor is making a resurgence with two new eateries. Located on the upper level of the Harbor Marina, the former owner of the Lodge and Bamboo in East Hampton has opened The Boathouse. The space gives a glimpse of the new Three Mile Harbor, with a cozy fireplace and a swanky shingled facade that's also home to the nearby Harbor Bistro with a new dining room that serves a $29 three-course menu of calamari, salmon and chocolate profiteroles.

Derek and Daniel Koch moved their Day & Night Saturday brunch to East Hampton Point from the Capri Hotel in Southhampton. At the bar at the East Hampton Point Marina, you'll find fedora-wearing guys and model look-alikes sipping pink Champagne. Those arriving by car should prepare to be one-upped by a yacht valet that assists anyone with a boat bigger than 150 feet. The party kicks off starting Memorial Day Weekend and runs through Labor Day.

Pink Elephant will no longer be part of the Hamptons scene, leaving its long-held space at the Capri Hotel. If you're looking for Hampton nightlife action, stay close to East Hampton and Montauk. Georgica has survived a series of management shifts and interior upgrades that have helped with last year's water issues. Dune returns through its partnership with Axe Lounge, which brought body scented nightlife to men over 30. Lily Pond is also back with a new sponsorship with Grey Goose vodka.
