Mad Money Recap
Cramer's 'Mad Money' Recap: Welcome to No-Man's Land (Final)
Big dividends are more important than ever, Cramer told viewers, as dividends provide a cushion of support for stocks on their way lower. He said Clorox is twice blessed, as the company is already flocked to in times of uncertainty.
Cramer said Clorox hardly has any exposure to Europe, with only 2% of the company's sales tied to the continent. On May 3, Clorox delivered an 8-cents-a-share earnings beat, taking share in three markets, all while holding gross margins steady. Trading at just 13 times its earnings, Cramer said Clorox is already cheaper than its peers.Executive Decision
In the "Executive Decision" segment, Cramer spoke with Don Voelte, CEO of Woodside Petroleum an Australian oil and natural gas provider that trades under the ticker "WPL", but only in Australia. When asked if demand for oil and natural gas is slowing in the Asia Pacific region, Voelte said that Woodside is still seeing pretty good demand for its liquefied natural gas, and despite some tightening, demand is still strong. Voelte said that unlike the U.S., which has plenty of energy types to choose from, countries like Japan, Taiwan and Korea, which have limited resources, plan for the long term, and have embraced natural gas more readily than the U.S. Voelte said that Woodside has 12 big customers, all of which the company has had long-term relationships with. Finally, when asked whether he was surprised at Australia's new resource tax, which has shares of Woodside two points off its low, Voelte said that it was a shock for the metals and mining community. He said while the tax doesn't apply to oil and natural gas, the old system worked well for all those involved. But on a brighter note, Voelte said that the tax is poorly designed, and is likely to be changed before it gets implemented.Lightning Round
In the Lightning Round, Cramer was bullish on American Tower (AMT) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM). Cramer was bearish on Freeport-McMoRan (FCX). -- Written by Scott Rutt in Washington D.C.
