DynCorp International Appoints Ashley Vanarsdall Burke As Senior Director, Media Communications

DynCorp International (DI) (NYSE:DCP) this week announced that it has appointed Ashley Vanarsdall Burke as Senior Director, Media Communications. Based in Falls Church, VA, she will develop media communications strategy, manage the company’s external media relations, and serve as DI’s corporate spokesperson.

Before joining DI, Burke was the Executive Vice President of Prism Public Affairs, a public affairs firm in Washington, DC, where she provided strategic counsel to corporations, non-profits, associations and coalitions seeking general public relations and public affairs counsel, as well as those involved in high-profile litigation and investigations. Her clients included numerous government contractors subject to intense scrutiny and oversight.

Prior to her work at Prism, Burke was the communications director for a trade association and worked for several public relations firms where she developed media relations and communications strategies.
