Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. Announces HSR Clearance For The Acquisition Of Diedrich Coffee

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) (“GMCR”) today announced that the Federal Trade Commission has closed its investigation concerning GMCR’s tender offer for Diedrich Coffee, Inc. (NASDAQ: DDRX) (“Diedrich Coffee”). With this closure, all necessary approvals of the tender offer under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 have been obtained. The tender offer is scheduled to expire at midnight, New York City time, on Monday, May 10, 2010, and is not expected to be extended further.
