New York Community Bancorp, Inc. Chairman, President, & CEO Joseph R. Ficalora To Speak At UBS Investor Conference On May 12, 2010 At 1:30 P.m. (ET)

 

New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: NYB) (the “Company”) today announced that its chairman, president, and chief executive officer, Joseph R. Ficalora, will participate in the UBS Global Financial Services Conference to be held in New York City on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Mr. Ficalora’s presentation is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time and will focus on the Company’s first quarter 2010 performance and its business strategies.

A simultaneous webcast of the presentation, including any questions and answers, will be available at the Company’s web site, ir.myNYCB.com. A replay of the webcast will be available within several hours of the presentation’s conclusion, and will be archived at the Company’s web site, together with the accompanying PowerPoint slides, through May 26, 2010.
