TerreStar To Highlight Satellite Capability In Standard Mobile Devices At CTIA WIRELESS 2010

 

Mobile communications provider TerreStar Networks Inc. (TerreStar), a majority-owned subsidiary of TerreStar Corporation (NASDAQ: TSTR), will be addressing the potential for Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) to reach the mainstream consumer on a panel during International CTIA WIRELESS 2010, held March 23 - 25, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Dennis Matheson, chief technology officer, TerreStar Networks will participate on the March 24 th panel, “Mobile Satellite Services with ATC: A Niche Market Heads Toward the Mainstream.”

“With advancements in satellite and chipset technology, satellite-based communications is poised to be a standard in everyday mobile devices,” said Dennis Matheson. “TerreStar is working with leading chip vendors to bring powerful integrated satellite-cellular devices to market; providing mainstream wireless users a truly ubiquitous mobile experience.”
