Hot Smartphones Launching at CTIA

LAS VEGAS (TheStreet) -- Don't buy that new cell phone just yet. If your service contract is about to expire or you just can't wait any longer to get your hands on one of the super-duper smartphones flooding the market -- WAIT! There will be a lot more to choose from shortly.

We're less than a week away from the nation's biggest cellular tradeshow: the International CTIA (Cellular Telephone Industries Association) Wireless 2010 in Las Vegas.

The exposition is a three-day event staring on March 23 that will feature speeches, forums and demonstrations of new ideas and products -- everything from cell broadcast towers and antennas to brand new handsets.

But let's be honest -- it's the new phones we're flocking to Vegas to see. The big brands are pretty tight-lipped about what we might see, but we've gotten a few hints. Read on to find out what we've heard.
