Pennsylvania AFL-CIO And Pennsylvania State Education Association To Announce New Labor Solidarity Partnership Agreement

 

Pennsylvania AFL-CIO President William George and Pennsylvania State Education Association President James Testerman will hold a press conference on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Capitol Room of the Pennsylvania State Education Association Building, 400 North Third Street, Harrisburg, PA to announce an historic agreement between the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO and the PSEA.

The agreement permits local associations affiliated with the PSEA and the NEA to become affiliates of AFL-CIO Central Labor Councils in Pennsylvania and to be directly affiliated with the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO and the AFL-CIO. The purpose of the agreement is to build a stronger Labor Movement for the working people of Pennsylvania.
