Robbins Umeda LLP Announces An Investigation Of The Acquisition Of Bowne & Co., Inc. By R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company

Robbins Umeda LLP has commenced an investigation into possible breaches of fiduciary duty and other violations of state law by the Board of Directors of Bowne & Co., Inc. ("Bowne") (NYSE: BNE) in connection with their decision to pursue and recommend the sale of Bowne to R.R. Donnelly & Sons Company ("Donnelley") (NASDAQ: RRD). Under the terms of the offer, Bowne shareholders will receive $11.50 per Bowne share in cash if the transaction is approved. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2010.
