BOSTON, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eaton Vance Management announced the following changes in the portfolio management of the municipal income closed-end funds listed below in connection with the departure of Robert B. MacIntosh from the Eaton Vance organization. These changes are effective today.

William H. Ahern Jr. is the portfolio manager of Eaton Vance Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: EIM).  Mr. Ahern is a Vice President of Eaton Vance and manages other Eaton Vance municipal portfolios.  He has been employed by Eaton Vance since 1989.

Craig R. Brandon is the portfolio manager of Eaton Vance Massachusetts Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: MAB) and Eaton Vance Massachusetts Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: MMV).  Mr. Brandon is a Vice President of Eaton Vance and manages other Eaton Vance municipal portfolios.  He has been employed by Eaton Vance since 1998.

Adam A. Weigold is the portfolio manager of Eaton Vance New Jersey Municipal Bond Fund (NYSE Amex: EMJ) and Eaton Vance New Jersey Municipal Income Trust (NYSE Amex: EVJ).  Mr. Weigold is a Vice President of Eaton Vance and manages other Eaton Vance municipal portfolios.  He has been employed by Eaton Vance since 1998.
