Tecumseh Products Company Announces Meeting And Record Dates For 2010 Annual Shareholders Meeting

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tecumseh Products Company (Nasdaq: TECUA, TECUB), a leading global manufacturer of compressors and related products, announced today that Tues., March 2, 2010, will be the record date for its annual shareholders meeting, which will be held on Wed., April 28.  The meeting location will be announced in the company's proxy filing.

If a shareholder intends to present any proposal for inclusion in the company's proxy statement and consideration at the annual meeting, the secretary of the company must receive the proposal by Feb. 18.  Similarly, if a shareholder intends to nominate a person for election to the company's board of directors or to propose other business, the shareholder must deliver a notice of nomination or proposal by Feb. 18.
