Harris Stratex Networks Appoints Mimi Gigoux As SVP And Chief Human Resources Officer

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSTX), a leading provider of wireless solutions that enable the evolution of next-generation fixed and mobile broadband networks, today appointed Mimi Gigoux as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. In this role, Ms. Gigoux will be responsible for leading the company's worldwide human resources organization.

Ms. Gigoux joins Harris Stratex Networks with over 25 years experience in human resources management, development and communications. Most recently, as the founder of Tribal Works Consulting, Ms. Gigoux provided consulting services to both private and public companies.

Prior to her consulting role, Ms. Gigoux held senior positions at Redback Networks, Digital Fuel, NeoForma, and Mirapoint Technologies. As SVP and Chief of Staff for Redback Networks, Ms. Gigoux led major organizational changes to address the company's rapid expansion and later led the integration of Redback into Ericsson.

Earlier in her career, she served in various human resources leadership roles at Cisco Systems leading human resources programs for several Cisco business units, and served as an internal consultant for organizational change management. She is recognized globally for her leadership in acquisition integration, and managed the integration of thousands of employees from over 65 acquired companies.

She started her career at Apple Computer working in a range of roles including customer relations, marketing, event planning and communications.
