Microtune CFO Takes Similar Post At Genband
PLANO, Texas (AP) — Microtune Inc., which makes radio frequency products for consumer electronics and electronic systems for automobiles, said Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey A. Kupp will step down.
Kupp has accepted the CFO's job at Genband Inc., a provider of Internet protocol multimedia and infrastructure products. He will continue as Microtune's CFO through Dec. 4. A spokesman for Genband said CFO Jan Gaulding will step down, probably in early 2010, but will remain with the company in another role. The company has not disclosed other details about the transition, she said. Justin M. Chapman, Microtune's vice president of accounting, will serve as interim CFO. The two companies are based in Plano, Texas. Shares of Microtune rose a penny to close at $1.77.TheStreet Premium Services
