NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The markets finished on the upside Tuesday as the rally continued.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 30.46, or 0.29%, to 10,437.42, while the S&P 500 added 1.01, or 0.09%, to 1,110.31. The Nasdaq rose 5.93, or 0.27%, to 2,203.78.

Joe Terranova said on CNBC's "Fast Money" TV show that the markets consolidated today, with no signs of a market correction between now and the end of the year.

Karen Finerman said the fundamentals don't mean that much when investors are moving in from the sidelines.

Simon Hobbs, the moderator of the show, seemed perplexed by a market in which all "boats are rising." Finerman, though, reminded him that liquidity remains a big factor in the market now as it was back in March, when fearful investors were dumping stocks. Now, she said, it's the "flip side" as "money needs to be put to work."

Pete Najarian said investors should look for areas like copper where there is demand and not be misled by former market leader Goldman Sachs(GS Quote), which was down today.

Terranova said there may be a correction in the dollar trade but that shouldn't deter investors because they know what the Fed's monetary policy is going to be. As a result, he said the policy means natural resource names and global companies will benefit.
