Lancaster Colony Increases Dividend To 30 Cents

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Lancaster Colony Corp., maker of specialty foods, glassware and candles, said Monday its board raised its quarterly cash dividend to 30 cents from 28.5 cents.

The dividend will be paid Dec. 31 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 10.

Lancaster, based in Columbus, Ohio, also said shareholders re-elected three directors. They are James Bachmann, 66, former managing partner at Ernst & Young LLP; Neeli Bendapudi, 46, a marketing professor at Ohio State University; and Lancaster Chief Financial Officer John Boylan, 54.

Shares of Lancaster rose 74 cents to $50.54 in midday trading.
