IBM Inks 55 Million Euro Deal With Samlink

NEW YORK (AP) — IBM Corp. said Monday it signed a seven-year agreement worth 55 million euros ($82 million) to provide outsourcing services for Samlink Ltd., a Finnish IT banking services provider.

Under the contract, IBM will manage Samlink's data infrastructure services, allowing Samlink to focus on its core activities, which includes infrastructure technology banking services.

Shares of IBM, which is headquartered in Armonk, N.Y., rose 91 cents to $127.94 in morning trading.
