Ethiopia Orders 12 A350 Aircraft From Airbus
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) Airbus says that Yemenia Airways has ordered 10 A320 aircraft in a deal with a list price of $700 million.
The sale was announced Monday. It's the second for Airbus unveiled at the Dubai Airshow. On Sunday, Airbus said it would sell 12 A350 XWB aircraft to Ethiopian Airlines. The two deals reflect an emphasis on smaller carriers and more modest orders at the Middle East's premier aviation fair, as the global economic downturn squeezes the industry.
