Agriculture Futures Mixed On The Chicago BOT

 

CHICAGO (AP) — Agriculture futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

December corn lost 3.5 cents to $3.905 a bushel, while oats for December delivery rose 2.5 cents to $2.69 a bushel and January soybeans jumped 18 cents to $9.90 a bushel. Wheat for December delivery was flat at $5.3175 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle edged down 0.8 cent to 82.85 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.97 cent to 92.5 cents a pound; December lean hogs slid 1.15 cents to 54.45 cents a pound; and February pork bellies shed 0.45 cent to 85.05 cents a pound.
