GM Readies 1st Post-Bankruptcy Results

DETROIT (TheStreet) - General Motors is set to report its third-quarter earnings on Monday, in its first earnings results since it emerged from bankruptcy.

While the automaker is no longer publicly traded and is no longer bound by federal accounting regulations, its results will still include revenue, liquidity and net gain or loss.

Regardless, GM said results cannot be compared to other quarters, as they will not comply with U.S. accounting principles.
