Oshkosh Gets $438M Vehicle Order From Army

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh Corp. said Wednesday the U.S. Army ordered another 1,000 all-terrain vehicles that feature mine resistant ambush protection, an order worth $438 million.

The order from the Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command Life Cycle Management Command is the fifth such award Oshkosh has received to supply the so-called M-ATVs, which seat four passengers plus one gunner and weigh 25,000 pounds.

The latest order brings to 6,219 the total number of M-ATVs to be delivered.

It also brings to $3.2 billion the total amount received for providing the vehicles.
