Truck Rolls While Eluding Border Patrol, 2 Dead

ELOY, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona authorities say a truck rolled over on a dirt road while trying to elude U.S. Border Patrol agents, killing two men and badly injuring three others.

Pinal County sheriff's spokeswoman Lt. Tamatha Villar says agents tried to stop the pickup truck on Arizona 87 north of Eloy on Tuesday morning but were not chasing it when the accident happened. All five men were ejected in the crash.

The three survivors were airlifted to a Phoenix hospital, where two were on life support Tuesday afternoon.

Villar says four of the five are suspected illegal immigrants.
