Report Says Warm, Dry Weather Boosts ND Harvest
FARGO, N.D. (AP) The Agriculture Department says warm, dry weather has given a boost to North Dakota farmers hoping to finish their harvest.
This week's crop report says the state's soybean crop is now 64 percent harvested and dry edible beans are 84 percent harvested. The state's sunflower crop is 32 percent harvested but still lagging behind the 76 percent average, and corn harvested for grain is only 3 percent complete compared with a 65 percent average.
