BAE Systems Gets $20M Air Force Pact

 

MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) — BAE Systems has received a contract worth $20 million from the Air Force to support global compliance of a nuclear treaty.

The defense contractor will provide engineering, research and program management services at Patrick Air Force Base.

The one-year base deal with four one-year options will be managed by BAE's facility in Melbourne, Fla.

BAE currently employs 80 people at the facility and expects to hire up to 40 network design engineers and installation technicians over the next year.
