Buffett's BNI Buy Boosts Transports ETF

IYT is the only pure-play transportation ETF, and it has a reasonable fee of 0.48% for a focused fund. The underlying portfolio contains 21 stocks, and the fund has a track record dating back to 2003. Year to date, IYT is up 3.28%.

For now, I would hold off on buying shares of IYT until we can ascertain that this is a sustained rally. While today's move could hold and the technical picture has improved, there needs to be broad support transportation stocks. Right now it is best to sit tight. A Buffett fueled rise in the rail sector is not enough.
